How does Polyware.net work?

Polyware.net is an online system that runs on an Internet Explorer v4.01 browser or higher. Internet Explorer is compatible with Windows 2000, NT, 95, 98, CE, Macintosh, UNIX Sun Solaris and HP-UX. Polyware.net has a centralized database that handles different security levels to allow users to consult, modify or add new data, images and/or pictures. The data is centralized on an SQL or Oracle server database.

The versatility of all the Polyware.net software is its ability to be used within a local network (intranet) or expand it to a extranet (internet). The knowledge that the users apply to update each mold file and/or solve a molding case are captured in the software database, turning it into an experience based source that always can be grown.

Minimum internal server, processing and client workstation(s) requirements for the performance and optimal use of the Polyware.net software application(s) are:

Server - Microsoft Windows NT Server version 4.0, Microsoft Internet Information Server version 4.0, Microsoft SQL Server version 7.0 and internal network connection with TCP/IP protocol

Processor - Microsoft Windows NT version 4.0, Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.04, Microsoft Outlook 98 version 8.5 and internal network connection with TCP/IP protocol

Client - Microsoft Windows NT version 4.0, Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.04 and internal network connection with TCP/IP protocol
